| Key Questions and Answers on the AgriSETA Constituent Verification Process |

1. What is the constituent verification process? |
| |
|
A small group of subject matter experts develops a Final Draft Curriculum Document. The broad community is given the opportunity to evaluate the document and submit their comments. This process is the constituent verification process. |

| 2. How are the small groups of subject matter experts established? |
| |
| Industry associations, commodity organisations or any other collective structures that represents workplaces that will employ a person in a specific occupation is asked to nominate the experts. |

| 3. Why did I receive an invitation to participate in the constituent verification process? |
| |
| Invitations are sent through an electronic process to all subscribers registered with the AgriSETA. Specific individuals are not selected. |

| 4. What is expected of me? |
| |
Step 1: establish if you will be able to verify the any of the final draft occupational curricula documents published. This will require subject matter knowledge regarding the occupation in question of you.
Step 2: carefully study the occupational curriculum document. A guide on the evaluation of occupation curricula is available for download to assist you.
Step 3: select the occupational curriculum you are verifying.
Step 4: register your details.
Step 5: continue with the verification by answering the listed questions.
Step 6: Add any specific comments you would like to bring to our attention.
Step 7: Submit your verification results. |

| 5. Do I only register once for all future constituent verification processes? |
| |
No. You have to complete steps 1 – 7 for every occupational curriculum you select. |

| 6. For how long will the document be open for verification? |
| |
A period of 30 calendar days is available to you to verify an occupational curriculum. There after the verification will be closed. |

| 7. May I forward the invitation received to any other person? |
| |
This is encouraged. There might be persons who should participate who are not subscribers to the AgriSETA website. |

| 8. Is the verification process limited to AgriSETA members only? |
| |
No. Any person with the required subject matter expertise may register and participate. |
