It is my pleasure to announce the appointment of Dr Khathutshelo Innocent Sirovha as AgriSETA’s Chief Executive Officer as of 01 December 2020. Dr Sirovha is a seasoned strategic leader with special expertise and experience in Strategic Planning and Development, Rural Development, Policy development and analysis, Organisational Restructuring and Transformation, Performance Management Systems, Employee Relations and Project Management, all undertaken in leadership positions in both the Public and Private Sector.

Dr Sirovha comes from the Greater Letaba Municipality, where he held Executive Strategic and Management position of the institution as the Municipal Manager. In his reign, the Municipality for two (2) consecutive years in succession obtained Unqualified Audit opinion inclusive of Performance Management System, Best Municipality with Public Participation Programme and Skills Development in both quality and quantity. As former Municipal Manager of Bojanala District Municipality in the North-West Province, he obtained the Best Municipality in Good Governance, Unqualified Audit Opinion for four consecutive years. He also served as the Chairperson of the Municipal Manager’s forum in the North-West for five consecutive years.

He has obtained a Doctor of philosophy in Public Administration, Masters in Public Administration, BTech in Education, Certificate in Municipal Financial Management and Certificate in Executive Leadership in Municipal Development Programme among other executive leadership courses.

Dr Innocent Sirovha has a comprehensive understanding of Rural Development issues, a keen writer with interest in environmental awareness matters. He is a well-rounded and grounded person and I have full confidence in his ability to lead the organisation, and to keep its performance momentum over the next five years.
