1. Introduction
AgriSETA (“the Organisation”) respects your right to privacy and complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”). This policy explains how we collect, process, store and protect your personal information when you download, install, register or use our mobile app. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

- Data Subject: You’re the App user.
- Responsible Party: AgriSETA (Connect Me Mobile App).

- Unique Identifier: Your user ID, account details or device ID used to uniquely identify you in the App.

This policy protects AgriSETA and its App users from POPIA compliance risks, ensures that your personal information is handled lawfully and transparently, and that your privacy rights are upheld.

- All users of the Connect Me Mobile App.

We collect personal information directly from you when you:
- Create an account or profile in the App.
- Use App features such as messaging, support or location services.

We may also collect limited information automatically through your device or App usage for performance, security and support purposes.

We do not sell or rent your information. We only share it with:
- Service providers required to deliver App services (hosting, payment processing, customer support).
- Authorities if legally required.
All third-party operators are bound by service agreements to comply with POPIA.

The App may use mobile analytics SDKs and limited cookies-equivalent technologies (such as device identifiers) to:

12. POPI Complaints Procedure
If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, please contact our Information Officer. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 7 working days. You may also contact the Information Regulator if you are dissatisfied with our response.
13. Disciplinary & Contractual Controls
All employees, contractors and service providers of AgriSETA are bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements. Any breach of this policy may result in disciplinary or legal action.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. We will notify users of significant changes via in-app notifications or email.
