Reopening of Call for Nominations to serve as members of AgriSETA’s Accounting Authority

The Agriculture Sector Education and Training Authority (AgriSETA), on behalf of the Minister of Higher Education and Training (MHET), Mr BK Manamela MP, calls for the nominations within the Agriculture Sector: organised employer, organised labour, community organisations, professional bodies and relevant departments are invited to nominate suitably qualified candidates including youth preferably in possession of NQF level 7 with expertise and experience in skills development and / or community development and / or governance for consideration and appointment as members of the SETA Accounting Authorities until 31 March 2030.

Those who were already nominated during the previous advertisement are not required to be renominated since their previous nominations will be considered.

Audit & Risk Committee Charter

In terms of Section 51 (1) (a) (ii) of the Public Finance Management Act, 199 (Act 1 of 1999 the Board of a SETA must ensure that the SETA has and maintains a system of Internal Audit under the control and direction of an Audit and Risk Committee. Internal Audit Charter

The Internal Audit Charter represents the general authorisation from the AgriSETA Board to conduct a certain scope of work.  The specific authorisation to do the work is the Strategic Three Year Rolling Internal Audit Plan and the Annual Internal Audit Plan, which are approved by the Audit and Risk Committee.
